WALKING THROUGH THE FOREST OF BETRAYAL

For wives who are on the journey

Blessed peace to all my sisters who walk this journey of betrayal and loss.
I have created this site is a safe place to tell your story, to blog, respond, vent, and possibly find hope. Your ideas are welcome!

Ladies, if you wish to become a part of this community, please contact me at the link below to get the password to access the rest of the site. There you will explore through the various topics of discussion! Happily Ever After Comes Tumbling Down

Welcome to a new safe place for your heart.  You have found this site because you have discovered that your spouse has betrayed your love, your trust, your vows. The first thing I want to assure you is the it is not your fault.

Some may tell you that you didn't meet "his needs" or fill his "love bucket" or offer the proper "care and feeding" to your husband. Others may accuse you of not being "submissive" enough or make him "feel respected". All of these statements are unbiblical because the root of these charges imply that you can make your husband dishonor you and disobey God. You cannot. He was given a free will to make his own choices.  Even if he has gone so far down the path to establish a pattern of addiction, the sin is his sin and you cannot bear the responsibility of his disobedience.

According to most recent studies, at least 50% of the men sitting around you in church have a porn problem. Many of their wives have no idea what is going on -- because you have found us, you have had the truth slap you in the face and need a team of sisters who understand this pain.  Sometimes that is through venting. Sometimes it is pleading for support.
Click the link on the 2015-16 Barna study commissioned by The Josh McDowell Ministry,  The Porn Phenomenon: The Explosive Growth of Pornography and How It’s Impacting Your Church, Life, and Ministry  (below) to see the results of what is going on around us.

What You Will (and will not) Find Here

  • You will find you are not alone.
  • We are here to support you and we will do so with God's Word (and sometimes as sinners who are hurting).
  • On this site you will not find photos of 'beautiful' women gently weeping that may trigger you.
  • You will not be censored for being too negative. Betrayal is not a "Fluffy Bunny" experience!
  • We do ask that you be respectful toward one another. We are all hurting.
  • If you feel the need to tell us how hot you look, how many guys are starting to notice you, or report on your new boob job, this is not the place for you. Facebook and Snapchat is for your broken ego.
  • NO PASSWORD NEEDED to access the Resource Page! We want to make certain everyone can get some the help they need even if you don't wish to be part of our discussions.

Getting
Notified of Other's Comments

There is a little box at the bottom of your comment that allows you to check it so you can be notified when someone comments on YOUR comments! Make certain you check this for great dialogue!
Much love,

Mountain Dancer
